The Woodlands Fire Department Responds to Laundry Room Fire at Forest View Apartments

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Tuesday evening The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at the Forest View Apartments located at 4545 South Panther Creek. Truck 108 arrived first and reported that a stand alone laundry building was on fire with flames venting out of the doorway. Firefighters quickly knocked the fire down, confining the fire damage to the laundry room. Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office ruled the fire accidental, fire cause was excessive lint buildup in a clothes dryer. Montgomery County Hospital District assisted however there were no reported injuries and residents from the adjacent building were able to go back to their apartments.
