Maple Glade House Fire Confined by The Woodlands Fire Department

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Just after 9pm Friday evening The Woodlands Fire Department responded to a reported house fire in the 200 block of N. Maple Glade Circle. Truck 104 reported a small fire in an exterior pool heater that they quickly extinguished. Fire damage was confined to the pool heater. Fire cause was determined to be accidental, a buildup of pine needles inside the pool heater ignited while the heater was in use. it is a good practice to check exterior equipment periodically for vegetation buildup either from wind or rodent activity.
