Montgomery County Food Bank Announces New Director of Development

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Montgomery County Food Bank is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Dietrich as its new Director of Development. In her role, Dietrich will oversee the food bank’s development department which is responsible for donor relations, fundraising activities, community outreach and marketing and communications initiatives.

Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the food bank, Dietrich most recently served as Director of Development at Sam Houston State University, where she was responsible for cultivating meaningful donor relationships, managing a portfolio of alumni and constituents, major gifts solicitation and event planning. Earlier in her career, she served as the Director of Development for Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi and Director of Food and Beverage for Verizon Arena. Dietrich has also volunteered on numerous committees benefiting the community.

Dietrich holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas and will soon hold a master’s degree in business administration from Sam Houston State University. Dietrich resides in Willis, Texas with her husband, Scott, and their two dogs.
