Local First Responders Team Up to Have Fun with Cub Scouts

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Recently, members of The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office patrol division and SWAT team partnered with the Montgomery County Constable’s Office Precinct 4, Texas DPS, Porter Fire Department, East County Fire Department, and the Montgomery County Hospital District EMS personnel to visit with the local troop of Cub Scouts at Bull Sallas Park in New Caney, Texas. Not only was there light-hearted banter, but the Scouts had the opportunity to be at the helm of the first responders’ vehicles! Even though the cars didn’t move, one could assume being in the driver’s seat had to be the highlight of the day for the Scouts! We want to thank all first responders who joined together to showcase our lighter side and to provide good ole fashioned community policing!
