MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- Montgomery County Food Bank today announced that Justin Kendrick, Senior VP & CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital, has been elected to Montgomery County Food Bank’s (MCFB) Board of Directors. The addition of Justin Kendrick brings the size of MCFB’s Board of Directors to 19 members.

During Justin’s nine-year tenure with the Memorial Hermann Health System, he has served as Vice President of Operations at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and Memorial Hermann The Woodlands, as well as the Director of Operations at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital. He is the former Chief Operating Officer of Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas and, prior to that role, he served as an Associate Administrator for Palmdale Regional Medical Center in Palmdale, California.

“We are so delighted to welcome Justin Kendrick to our Board of Directors,” said Kristine Marlow, President and CEO of MCFB. “Justin is a true leader and trailblazer within the healthcare industry. I am confident that his exceptional credentials and passion for our mission will help the food bank continue to implement innovative approaches to addressing health issues linked to food insecurity as hunger and health are deeply connected. People who are food insecure are disproportionally affected by diet-sensitive chronic diseases and overall health concerns.”

“I am honored to be joining MCFB’s Board of Directors,” said Justin Kendrick, Senior VP & CEO of Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital. “The work of Montgomery County Food Bank is awe inspiring. I look forward to leveraging my skillset to help the food bank further its mission and impact in the community.”

Justin received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Nazarene University and master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Trinity University in San Antonio. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on numerous community service and development boards. A resident of The Woodlands, Justin and his wife, Chelsea, have three young children – two daughters and a son: Collins, Ellison and Brooks.
