THE WOODLANDS, TX – Coming off of a beautiful – if not bright and hot – Mother’s Day, Monday will bring us some cloud cover to give us a little relief from the UV rays. As the day progresses, so will the winds – reaching up to 14 mph – and the temps, settling around 94 for a high. The partly cloudy skies will open up to sun for the day, but overnight the cloud will come back in for an encore.

Looks like the rains are taking a break this week

Monday night the low will struggle to go down into the middle 70s as the clouds keep the warm air from going off into that good night. With the Tuesday sunrise, however, the skies will turn mostly sunny and the high temp will be a couple of degrees cooler than the day before, around 92. Late night winds will help the low temp to get back down into the upper 60s.

Wednesday will basically be a replay of the day before; cloudy morning breaking into sunny skies with a high in the low 90s and a low in the upper 60s. But be prepared to have some hair-ruffling going on with some afternoon winds.

Thursday will have scared all the clouds away and we’ll be bright and hot all day with a high of 94. Be sure to watch out for the rays and bring sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen just in case. Or, restart a classic fashion trend and grab a parasol. The Thursday low will once again be in the upper 60s.

Friday will bring a little relief from the sun with some partly cloudy skies returning and temperatures remaining consistent with the previous days. Without spoiling our weekend weather report that comes out on Friday, suffice it to say you just might be able to expect more of the same over the weekend and into the next week.

Stay tuned on Friday as we bring you Woodlands Weekend Weather.
