Cadillac has long been known for its luxurious, powerful cars, but the efficiency of its vehicle engineering has also translated into impressive fuel economy figures. Both the CT4 and the CT5 represent the next generation of Cadillac sedans, offering the same power that drivers have come to know and love without compromising on efficiency under the hood.

CT4
The 2023 Cadillac CT4 is powered by a standard 2L 237-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine that comes in both FWD and AWD. It enjoys a combined average fuel economy rating of 27 mpg in FWD and 26 mpg in AWD.

Higher-level trims of the CT4 can upgrade to a 2.7L turbocharged four-cylinder that is rated at 309 horsepower in the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels, and at 325 horsepower in the CT4-V. The 309-horsepower variant is rated at a combined 25 mpg in FWD and 24 mpg in AWD, while the CT4-V variant clocks in at a combined average rating of 23 mpg in FWD and AWD.

CT5
The standard engine of the CT5 is identical to the standard 2L, 237-horsepower engine in the CT4 and is rated at a very similar combined 27 mpg in FWD and 25 mpg in AWD. However, this can be upgraded to a more powerful 3L twin-turbo V6 that is rated at 335 horsepower, while the CT5-V trim uses that same V6 but contains some performance tweaks that push it up to 360 horsepower.

The 335-horsepower version of the V6 is rated at a combined 22 mpg in FWD and 21 in AWD, while the CT5-V is rated at a combined 21 mpg in FWD and AWD.
