THE WOODLANDS, TX - The National Weather Service in Houston/galveston has issued a Fire Weather watch for Dangerously Low Relative Humidity, which is in effect for Montgomery County and northern Harris County from now until 9 o'clock this evening.
The combination of winds, which have been northeast at strengths of 5 to 10 miles per hour, and a relative humidity as low as 15 to 20 percent has prompted the action. A Fire Weather watch means that Critical Fire Weather Conditions are forecast to occur. Stay tunes to Woodlands Online for further forecasts and possible Red Flag Warnings.
