Gardening is medicine that does not need a prescription and has no limit on dosage. Gardening can be therapeutic in many ways:

1. Gardening helps you get into the sun: the sun has been proven to produce vitamin D, boost your mood and your immune system.

2. Heal your body: When you plant a medicinal herbal garden like, peppermint, rosemary, oregano, thyme, chamomile, yarrow, calendula, and more. You are able to use all these herbs to keep you body healthy and heal your skin.

3. Help the environment: by planting a garden with flowers you help the pollinators, such as bees and butterflies.

4. Cook with them: There is nothing like using fresh herbs from your garden in your cooking, the flavor is bold and you know what went into growing it and how it was processed.

5. Helps you to be creative: with all these herbs you can make teas, salves, tinctures, oils and even art with the flowers produced.
