THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Thomas Markle of Thomas Markle Jewelers has stepped up to support the education, prevention and treatment of breast cancer through The Breast Cancer Charities of America and iGoPink Unmasking Breast Cancer Masquerade Gala.

Thomas Markle has made it a point to be a man of the community. Involved with multiple charities and organizations, Tom has always stressed the importance of philanthropy in his business.

“I really strongly believe that a business is not a business without a great deal of involvement in the community and local charities…the benefit is enormous and personally rewarding.”

Thomas Markle has donated a diamond necklace valued at $6,990.00 to be featured in the “Diamonds…Bling it On” game at this year’s gala.

The 4th Annual Unmasking Breast Cancer Masquerade Gala will be hosted Friday, October 25 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. The black-tie optional gala has become known as the ‘adult Halloween party’ in The Woodlands with guests showcasing gorgeous masks from Italy to classic Phantom of the Opera themed masks. The gala’s masquerade theme ties in their mission of helping to ‘unmask’ new, non-invasive treatments for breast cancer.

Funds raised during the event will go towards The Breast Cancer Charities of America’s primary program services including the Help Now Fund (paying the rent and utilities of women going through breast cancer), their University Education Program, and funding for non-invasive breast cancer treatment research.

Breast Cancer Charities of America (BCCA) is a non-profit organization with headquarters in The Woodlands, Texas. Sponsorship opportunities remain, but are limited.
