Markle Luxury Jewelers donates necklace to The Woodlands Celebrity Golf Classic and Gala

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Markle Luxury Jewelers is pleased to announce that they will continue their support of The Woodlands Celebrity Golf Classic and Gala by donating a necklace by Hearts on Fire for the raffle portion of events. Proceeds from the raffle will support Montgomery County Youth Services (MCYS).

“We are thrilled to celebrate the Classic’s 25th year with the donation of this gorgeous piece,” said Thomas Markle. “Each year, the support raised for MCYS directly assists many children and young adults in our community. We love participating in an event that shares our passion for serving youth and look forward to seeing this event’s accomplishments in 2013.“

The Hearts on Fire necklace is from the designer’s Silk Pavé line and features a large diamond-shape pendant encrusted in “the world’s most perfectly cut diamonds”. It is set in 18-karat white gold and valued at nearly $9,000. The simple, adjustable chain and pendant is 1.75 total karats and can be worn during the day or evening.

“Markle Luxury Jewelers has been generous with their contribution to the Classic this year, which will make an impact on youth and families in our community,” said Tournament Director Greg Freede. “We look forward to a successful raffle and toasting to the achievements of the Classic’s 25th anniversary and its impact. I am positive that the woman who adds this piece to her jewelry collection will find it as versatile as it is beautiful.”

The 25th Anniversary Gala will take place on Friday, November 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center; Alex and Sharon Sutton will be the honorees. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $25 each, five for $100 and 30 for $500. Winners will be announced at Friday night’s gala, but the winner does not have to be present to win. The gala will also feature dinner and dancing, in addition to silent and live auction events.

The Woodlands Celebrity Golf Classic events will be hosted November 8 – 9 and will be hosted by PGA Professional Golfer Jeff Maggert and his wife, Michelle Maggert. A VIP Party, hosted by Markle Luxury Jewelers, will kick-off the weekend. Friday’s Skins Games and Sponsor/Celebrity Stroke Play Tournament will be hosted at The Woodlands Country Club Tournament Course (formerly TPC). The Saturday Celebrity/Amateur Tournament will be hosted at the Palmer Course in The Woodlands from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
