MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- The Montgomery County Youth Services "Yes to Youth" gala recently held at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott was a record breaker for the organization dedicated to serving youth in crisis in Montgomery County. The 2017 Presenting Sponsor was the PISULA Development Company.

The event honored Jeff and Michelle Maggert for their continuing support of MCYS for over 25 years.

Co-chaired by MCYS Board member Patti Rivela and Laura Everson the Gala themed Caribbean Nights hosted 550 guests and raised over $500,000 for the agency. Guests generously waived their paddles to support the Fund A Need, and the live auction garnered as much generosity with trips to Pitigliano, Italy; Wine Dinner at Fleming’s and more.

The raffle item was a pair of diamond hoop earrings donated by Mark Pharo, Extraordinary Jewels.

In addition to PISULA Development Company as the Presenting Sponsor were Diamond Sponsors Jacque and Lloyd Everson, and Tricia and Jack Futcher; Platinum Sponsors Woodforest National Bank and Sylvia Caracio; Gold Sponsors Kristi and George Lindahl, Farouk Chi BioSilk, Global Shop Solutions and Wells Fargo The Private Bank; along with numerous Silver and Bronze Sponsors, and Underwriters.

This year the Gala had it’s first Junior Committee to mentor younger adults in the leadership roles of volunteering on committees and the Junior Chair was Jaya Jolly.

Also highlighted during the event were Aerialists from The John Cooper School, Boni’s Dancers and Mrs. Texas United States, Ann Marie Reigrut.

This is the first year the gala has been separated from the annual Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational™ Golf Classic that will be Saturday November 4, 2017 at the Woodlands Country Club Palmer Course.
