Conroe ISD receives a clean audit

CONROE, Texas -- Conroe ISD received a clean audit for 2012-2013. Conroe ISD Finance Department assembled the 2012-2013 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Weaver and Tidwell, LLP was the auditor. CAFR is a set of U.S. government financial statements comprising the financial report of state, municipal, or other governmental entity. A CAFR must be compiled yearly and audited by an external Certified Public Accountant. The report is composed of three sections: Introductory, Financial, and Statistical.

Dan Cox, Conroe ISD Chief Financial Officer, announced at the January Board meeting that once again Conroe ISD received a clean audit.

“My firm is a large firm that works with school district comparable to Conroe and Conroe’s financial department is second to none,” stated Kevin Sanford, Weaver and Tidwell Partner.
