THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The NutriMen – a superhero team defending children’s health – will save the day at The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Saturday, Feb. 20.

These crusaders for a cause will take center stage during a day dedicated to healthy living habits presented by Junior League of The Woodlands, Inc.

“Kids in the Kitchen” begins at 10 a.m. and runs until noon at the museum located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280 in The Woodlands. The event is included in the price of admission, which is $5 per person 1 year and older.

There are a number of activities planned to help educate children about smart eating habits and healthy living, and will include an opportunity for them to learn to make their own snacks, such as a “Mix and Match” trail mix.

The NutriMen will perform at noon, recommending ways children may make positive decisions about health and fight inactivity.

“We will spend the day promoting healthy eating and exercise,” Angela Colton, executive director of the museum, said. “Helping children stay fit and healthy is one of our top priorities at the museum. We’re so grateful that the Junior League has eagerly approached us to sponsor this fantastic event, knowing the initiatives we share in our missions.”
