THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Montgomery County has been voted the number one plumbing company by both Woodlands Online and Living Magazine for three years in a row.

"Our industry is fiercely competitive, and we are very humbled and honored to receive these awards three years in a row by both organizations," said Executive Vice President Natalie Saikowski Goertz.

The family owned-and-operated company established roots in Montgomery County more than 25 years ago. They have since grown from a 2-3 truck operation to more than 15 trucks serving customers at any given time. The team has grown to include master plumbers, tradesmen, journeymen, drain specialists and apprentices.

"We are all about educating our customers rather than just selling," Natalie said. "Our role is to go in and educate people about the plumbing in their home. Knowledge is power, and when you are educated, you can make good decisions for your home or business."

Educating customers begins with educating employees.

"Our technicians go through an extensive training program," Natalie said. "We have weekly team meetings with sessions on people skills, how to interact with customers etc. We know our technicians have the technical skills, but we also want them to have inner personal relationship skills. Our technicians are so much more than 'just' plumbers."

Mr. Rooter is also very involved in the community.

"Corporate social responsibility is very important to us," Natalie said. "We provide our staff a variety of opportunities throughout the year to give back to the community that gives to them."

Roger and Natalie are both graduates of Leadership Montgomery County. Roger is a board member for the Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club of Conroe, while Natalie serves on the board for the Executive Women's Alliance, chairs the Conroe ISD Mentoring Committee for Rotary Club of The Woodlands and chairs the Diplomat Team for the Montgomery County Association of Business Women. They are also involved with the Arthritis Foundation, Interfaith of The Woodlands, Junior League of The Woodlands, Lone Star Boxer Rescue, Panther Creek Inspiration Ranch and organizations relating to breast cancer awareness.

"We are honored to be a part of this dynamic community," Natalie said. "We want to sincerely thank everyone for their continued support."
