THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Families can enjoy a special hand-puppet presentation of Santa Claus is Coming to Town at The Woodlands Children’s Museum on Friday, Nov. 23.

Thirty-minute performances are scheduled for 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. that day. Space is limited.

Presenting the show will be Houston-based Carranza Puppets, which has been bringing children’s literature to life since it was founded by educator David Carranza and artist Carol Carranza in the 1970s. The Carranzas write the scripts for all of their productions.

“Watching Carranza Puppets perform is an enchanting experience, and this performance is a magical way to usher in the holiday season for all” said Angela Colton, executive director of the museum. “The Carranzas put great love and care into every aspect of their productions, including the puppets, the costumes and the set. I know our visitors will be entranced by their presentation of Santa Claus is Coming to Town.”

The puppet show is included in the museum’s regular $6 admission for children ages 1 and older.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum is recommended for ages 7 and younger. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
