Montgomery County Sheriff's Office Arrests Sexual Assault Suspect

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX - On April 30, 2020, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office received a report of Sexual Assault. Deputies met with the Victim, a 20 year old Hispanic male who reported he met another male on a social media app. The Victim proceeded to an address in the 25000 block of Rayford Crest Dr, where he met with the male. During the interaction, the male produced a knife, tied the victim’s wrists with duct tape, and forced the male to provide sexual acts.
As a result of the investigation, Detectives with the Sheriff’s Office were able to identify the suspect as Joseph Verucci, a registered sex offender.
On May 14, 2020, Detectives secured an arrest warrant for Verucci for Aggravated Sexual Assault (NO BOND). Shortly after the warrant was obtained, Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office located Verucci, and placed him in custody without incident.
