THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Halloween is Sunday night and it is a wonderful time for everyone as we get to interact with the kids and parents in our community. But everyone’s safety during trick-or-treating is our biggest priority. Here are a few things you can do to make sure your evening goes as smoothly and safely as possible:

*Please drive carefully as kids will be crossing streets, and walking between houses and parked cars. Do not text and drive!

*Parents, make sure kids are equipped with flashlights, reflective gear, and/or glow sticks. Visibility is our friend!

*Parents, please inspect the candy your kids have received. Unwrapped candy and fruits should be thrown away.

Also, if you see any suspicious behavior or reckless conduct, please call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office at 936-760-5800.

Happy Halloween!
