CLEVELAND, TX -- On April 24, 2022, a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Deputy was dispatched to 18321 HWY 105 E, Cleveland, TX (Exxon) in reference to theft of fuel. While reviewing security footage of the thefts on April 22 & 23, the Deputy observed a vehicle matching the one seen in the security footage pull into the gas station. The occupants of the vehicle were identified as Silvino Martinez-Perez, and Rosanne Verdecia Reyes. Both subjects were captured on the security cameras stealing fuel from the same pumps the previous two nights. The Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, and accepted charges on both subjects for felony theft of approximately $4500 worth of diesel fuel. This is an on-going investigation, and these two suspects may be tied to multiple additional thefts in the area.
