THE WOODLANDS, TX – We here at Woodlands Online Weather Central can’t believe our eyes; it seems as if for the final week of July we’re finally in for a full week where the high temps will stay firmly entrenched in the 90s. While not exactly a cold front that’s blowing through town, anything that keeps the thermostat in the double digits is – for us – just fine.

Believe it or not, we’re in for a week where the temps won’t hit the hundreds

All week long, cloud cover and winds will come and go with reckless abandon; if any precipitation tags along, it will be short, light, and sporadic.

Already this morning, the pressure is plunging as the clouds increase. Our partly cloudy skies will keep the high at 99 – but don’t forget to factor in the humidity, making it a heat index of 105, so stay indoors and hydrated as much as possible. Our low temps will actually hit the 70s around three in the morning, so when you wake up for Tuesday workday you’ll have some relief from the heat.

Tuesday will see an increase in cloud cover, and more low pressure will keep the high at 98. The clouds will start to dissipate around quitting time, so you can look forward to stargazing with slightly milder temperatures.

Wednesday will see more sun than clouds, and the high will settle at a positively balmy 96. It should be a fairly windy day as well, so grab those kites while you can. Thursday and Friday will see pretty much an identical pattern, with highs around 97 and the lows in the mid 70s, with decreasing cloud coverage as the week winds down.

Stay tuned on Friday as we bring you Woodlands Weekend Weather.
