THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Klein Oak and Grand Oaks met up at Grand Oaks High School once again due to the downpour just before the game on Saturday afternoon. The game was also pushed back but the rain would continue. Although there were a couple of rain delays, the game still went on.

Grand Oaks popped off to a quick lead as the Klein Oak pitcher struggled on the mound. With loaded bases, Klein Oak would walk a base runner in giving Grand Oaks a 1-0 lead. This would be short lived as Matt Scott with Klein Oak hit an absolute solo tank out of the field and into the woods which tied up the game.

In the bottom of the second Gage Kooyers would double and bring a runner in to give Klein Oak their first lead of the game. But this was short lived after a couple of rain delays Garcia would drop a single and bring a runner in for Grand Oaks tying the game up once again.

The bottom of the fourth is where Klein Oak began to separate from Grand Oaks. Starting off with a sac-fly in the outfield, which brought one in. As well as a long shot to the warning track, Klein Oak increased their lead 5-2 heading into the fifth inning.

Hamilton, with Grand Oaks would answer back with a huge tank but this would only chip away at the Klein Oak lead.

Klein Oak would eventually hold off Grand Oaks and take the win, 6-3. This would give them the series win and move them to the regional quarterfinal against Cy Woods.
