THE WOODLANDS, TX – Montgomery County residents, businesses, civic organizations, and schools are encouraged to join Montgomery County Food Bank in the fight against hunger by participating in the organization’s annual holiday food and funds drive, Holiday Helpings (formerly Stock the Sleigh), presented by Waste Connections. Two separate-yet-related projects make up the initiative.

For the Holiday Helpings Food Drive, people are invited to donate and collect the most needed food items and help fight hunger for countless children, seniors and families in need in Montgomery County. To defray expenses, Montgomery County Food Bank will not be providing food drive boxes for pickup this year. To participate, register and download the toolkit to learn more.

For the Holiday Helpings Funds Drive, you are encouraged to join the team as a Donation Plate Fundraiser. The Donation Plates have a QR code that allows your company's network of customers, clients, employees, and others to make a donation directly to the Food Bank. The donor can then fill out their donation to be displayed on your business’ windows, entryway, walls, Christmas tree, or wherever else you and your team decide. To participate, register and download the toolkit to learn more.

Montgomery County Food Bank reminds you that every $1 raised helps provide up to four meals, which will go a long way to feed those throughout the county who are food insecure.
