THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) celebrates two dynamic decades of making art matter with a year of new events, special programming, and more. The Arts Council proudly announces that the inaugural Texas Fine Craft Show tickets are on sale now!
The Texas Fine Craft Show, featuring the work of world-class fine craft artists, is a curated boutique shopping experience hosted at The Westin The Woodlands on November 1, 2, and 3, 2024. This new event is chaired by Haley Garcia, Vice President of The Woodlands Arts Council, a local leader, and art enthusiast. Ticket proceeds from the show go back to the successful Microgrant Program, which impacts arts educators, organizations, students, and independent artists in Montgomery County.
“I could not be more thrilled to be a part of our inaugural fine craft show and to share with The Woodlands what fine craft truly is,” said Haley Garcia, Texas Fine Craft Show Chair. She continued, “This event is an amazing addition to our long-standing and popular arts festival, and I know it will become a staple for all of us art lovers for years to come!”
Held in the heart of The Woodlands Arts District, next to the beautiful Waterway Square, ticket-buying guests will enjoy complimentary parking courtesy of Howard Hughes.
Additionally, the art-obsessed are invited to raise a glass at Cheers! A Premier Evening of shopping and celebration will be held on Friday, November 1, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm (come and go). It will feature the first opportunities to buy one-of-a-kind fine crafts and enjoy passed bubbles, hor d'oeuvres, and more. Cheers! Tickets are $150 each and include weekend access to the show.
Saturday morning, the show will open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, from Noon to 5:00 p.m. Single-day tickets are $28.
Patrons are encouraged to purchase “Bubbles With Benefits,” a drink package that benefits The Woodlands Arts Council's mission to make art matter in Montgomery County.
“The artists are coming from all over the country to share their fine craft talent with you. We hope attending and supporting this show will help grow an appreciation for the art of fine craft. We hope to see you there!” said Jenny Carattini-Wright, Executive Director & CEO of TWAC.
