Social Sweets is officially open at the site of the former Dolly Lama in Shenandoah. According to a Facebook reviewer, "We dropped by this amazing family-owned and operated eatery this morning before they opened their doors to the public and grabbed a quick caramel latte and croissant. Both were delish and the pricing was good. They really outdid themselves with the beautiful decorations. Social Sweets has more menu items than before. Along with the delicious ice cream that you normally associate them with (waffle cones too), they also now offer lunch items like savory waffles, baked pastries, and a full coffee menu (believe me when we say that their coffee is awesome). Drop by today and get to know the owners Adriana and Jason at Social Sweets. They are a super nice family and will get you hooked up with some great coffee, delicious ice cream or savory waffles and pastries."
