Traffic Update: FM 1097 at Adkins Creek has reopened

Montgomery County Judge Mark Keough has announced that a major throughfare, FM 1097, has reopened after partially collapsing due to the recent storms and flooding. In a statement on his official Facebook page, Keough stated:
I’m happy to report that FM 1097 at Adkins Creek has reopened. I’m amazed at the work that TxDOT and the contractors have been able to complete in such a short period of time. The workers are taking a much needed day off, and will return this week to complete shoring up the surrounding areas with concrete to prevent any further erosion to the bridge area. Please continue to be cautious in the area as the workers return to finish their work.
