ORWALL spring season comes to a close
THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Oak Ridge/Woodlands Area Little League (ORWALL) spring season came to an end on Thursday.
The ORWALL National Junior All-Stars dropped a 9-8 decision to Bridge City in an East Texas Section 2 Tournament elimination game. It was the second one-run loss for ORWALL National in two nights. They came up short in a 4-3 loss to Channelview on Wednesday.
The win, for Bridge City, avenged a tournament-opening 15-12 setback at the hands of ORWALL National and now the tournament, hosted by ORWALL, will be decided by unbeaten Channelview and Bridge City.
The first championship game is set for 7 p.m. Friday. A Bridge City win would force a second and deciding championship game, which would be played at 10 a.m. Saturday.
