Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum salutes veterans

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- “A Salute to our Veterans” was the theme for 162 guests recently at a Forum Friends luncheon held in Lakewood United Methodist Church. A large number of Veterans were in attendance.

Jim Connors, long time Astros organist, entertained everyone with oldies music and patriotic songs to honor our Veterans. The signature program meets in local area churches and other locations with CWJF members providing free entertainment and lunch.

Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum is an organization of women providing volunteer services, leadership and philanthropy to enrich the communities in North Harris and South Montgomery County. CWJF partners with agencies, schools and corporations to fulfill identified needs in education, interaction with an aging population and support for people with disabilities.
