Local Volunteer Organization helps Celebrates Centennial Birthday

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum brought out the balloons and goodies in celebrating Alice Harvey’s 100th birthday in Northwest Houston. Ms. Harvey was born in Washington D.C , lived most of her life in New Hampshire and now resides in Spring, Texas where she was “adopted” by Mayumi Grimes. Mayumi has been a volunteer with CWJF for 9 years and is a founding member of Fast Friends. Fast Friends host dinners and lunches 6-8 times a year and small get togethers to give the seniors an opportunity for socializing outside of their senior facilities.
