HS Volleyball: Klein avenges first loss to College Park, The Woodlands and Grand Oaks claim district titles

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- About a month ago, College Park handed Klein their first district loss of the year. The Bearkats were eager for the rematch on Tuesday night and they didn’t let it go to waste. Klein took control and rolled on to a sweep over the Cavaliers.

Both teams came to play early on in set one. College Park’s Annie Cooke was especially fired up to begin the game. The senior setter carried the team during the back and forth battle in set one.

As would be the case in all three sets, Klein would fight off the opening surge from College Park, then take control with great shot placement and relentless hustle to cover all areas of the court.

Klein would go on to win 25-20, 25-16, 25-20 and take the second-place spot in District 15-6A. College Park will finish third with the loss.
