THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Interfaith of The Woodlands hosted their Annual Thanksgiving Feast for Senior Adults at the South County Community Center. There were 120 seniors in attendance who enjoyed a traditional holiday feast served by volunteers from Woodforest National Bank, Interfaith’s Board of Directors, Commissioner James Noack, Interfaith staff and volunteers.

“Our Thanksgiving Feast is one way that we can make a tremendous impact in the lives of Senior Adults who really look forward to the Annual Feast for the fellowship, friendship and delicious meal provided by Clint’s Kuntry Katfish & Catering all thanks to our wonderful community that supports Interfaith’s mission of building a more loving and caring community through service.” said Missy Herndon, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands.

Mary Ann Whitney, Chair of Interfaith’s Board of Directors, kicked off the feast, and Dr. Daniel Hannon delivered the invocation. A highlight of the luncheon was a special performance by the students from Interfaith Child Development Center, who entertained the Senior Adults with Thanksgiving-themed songs and dances.

The Thanksgiving Feast kicks off Interfaith’s season of Holiday Giving each year. Interfaith is expected to serve 10,000 neighbors this holiday season, in addition to the programs and services they offer the community year-round, whether it’s serving a holiday meal to our senior adults or providing basic needs to local families who need help.
