ECNL Boys Compete at Summer Playoffs 2025

From June 25 to July 1, 2025, HTX Boys ECNL teams (12, 09, 08) competed at the prestigious ECNL Playoffs held at 60 Acres Park in Redmond, Washington.

Highlighting the week’s accomplishments, the HTX B12 team went undefeated in group play (W3-L0), advancing to the Round of 16. They faced a tough Solar SC side and fell 0–2 in a tightly contested match that showcased high-level play and determination from both teams.

“Having three of our teams reach the playoffs and compete at such a high level is a tremendous achievement and a true testament to the hard work and dedication poured into this program over the past year,” said Alex Cardenas, Boys Academy Director. “I want to congratulate our players and staff for their incredible commitment. Competing at this event against some of the best teams in the country was a valuable experience and will undoubtedly help us prepare for the upcoming fall season.”

“It was a tremendous event that showcased top-level national competition at a first-class facility,” said Dave Dengerink, Boys Director. “The ECNL did an outstanding job as hosts, and having three of our qualifying ECNL teams participate was a fantastic way to close out the 2024-25 season on a high note. A huge thank you goes out to our players, our dedicated coaching staff, and the club for its unwavering commitment to elite player development.”

This latest program wide success marks another proud milestone in HTX Soccer’s ongoing journey of excellence in 2025.
