“Incredible achievement—winning back-to-back U13 Girls National Championships at Disney in Orlando, Florida,” said Randy Evans, HTX Soccer Technical Director. “To be able to consistently compete at a national level, we place a strong focus on process and development.  An enormous amount of time, commitment, and hard work goes into the entire year from everyone involved.  It’s great to see those efforts rewarded."

"Competing on the national stage is a key part of our mission at HTX. Seeing so many players not just have the opportunity, but thrive in that environment makes us incredibly proud. The time and energy our coaches, players, and parents pour into the City Program create these unique opportunities," said Andrew Squire. "An experience like playing at Disney for a National Championship builds memories that last a lifetime—and gives players the belief that they can achieve great things if they dedicate themselves in the right environments. To see three teams become National Champions in the past year is a powerful reflection of the culture and environment we’ve built together as a club."

“I couldn’t be prouder of this group of players—they’ve shown an incredible level of character to achieve a success that is thoroughly deserved,” said Michael Openshaw, Head Coach | HTX City Program Director. “It’s been an unbelievable experience, and I’m so happy for the girls. They truly earned this national championship. We’re excited to carry this momentum into the fall season, which is just around the corner.”

“This has been an incredible experience and opportunity for our girls, parents, and club to compete again at the national championships in Florida,” said Willie Fowlkes, Girls Academy Coach. “US Youth Soccer has done a tremendous job creating an environment and atmosphere that our players and families will remember for the rest of their lives. I’m extremely proud of our players and staff for their efforts and professionalism throughout this national competition.”

“This is a remarkable accomplishment for everyone involved, and it represents the kind of journey we aspire to create for our players,” said Benn Fernie, GA2 North Director. “We’re incredibly proud of the players, coaches, and parents for representing HTX Soccer and the state of Texas with excellence—and for bringing yet another national championship home to Houston and HTX Soccer.”
