Oak Ridge 17, Klein Forest 0

The War Eagle bats did some serious damage in this game. 16 hits in just four innings of work with Kennedy Reynolds leading the team with three hits. Three was also the number of home run hitters Oak Ridge had in the win. Reynolds and Mya Briones each went yard once to go along the two blasts from Morgan Dutton in the first and fourth inning. Morgan Brandon got the win in the circle for Oak Ridge. Brandon struck out six, allowing just one hit on the night. Oak Ridge (3-0) Next Game: Brenham tourney - 3/5-7

Conroe 11, Klein Cain 1

The Tigers scored three runs in the opening inning, went scoreless in the next two, the turned up the heat with eight runs over the fourth and fifth innings to put the Hurricanes away in five. Kennedy Powell’s three hits and Kenzie Ness’ three RBI’s led the Tigers who finished with 12 total hits. Izzy Lozada struck out five and allowed two hits in the win for Conroe. The Woodlands 2, Klein Oak 1

Avery Taylor got the start and the win for the Highlanders in a low scoring duel. Taylor struck out five in seven innings of work, keeping Oak off the board until the final inning. Abbey Newlun’s sacrifice bunt and an RBI single from Kayla Falterman was enough to carry The Woodlands over the finish line. The Woodlands (1-2) Next Game: Barbers Hill tourney - 3/5-7

Caney Creek 3, Kingwood Park 1

Chloie Pollard’s walk-off hit in extra innings gave the Panthers a big district win. Lydia Madden got the win in the circle, striking out two and allowing 7 hits. Caney Creek (1-1) Next Game: @ Tomball - 3/6

Lake Creek 16, Grand Oaks 6

Avery Pemberton’s two hits and two RBI’s led the Grizzlies in the loss. Grand Oaks (0-2) Next Game: vs Willis - 3/6
