THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Caney Creek high school has announced Kendall Hineman as the Panthers’ new head football coach and campus athletic coordinator.

Hineman comes over from the Conroe Tigers where he was the team’s assistant head coach and running backs coach. Hineman, a University of Texas graduate with 10-plus years of coaching experience, will take over for coach Ned Barrier who leaves Caney Creek after just one season.

Coach Hineman will be looking to turn around a program that went 2-8 overall and 1-6 in District 8-5A in 2019. The Panthers open the 2020 season at Moorhead Stadium, a familiar venue for the former Conroe coach, against the Pasadena Eagles on August 28.
