MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -- The Montgomery County Association of Business Women (MCABW) will hold their annual Christmas Party at GenuWine Tasting Room in Magnolia, from 5 pm to 7 pm, on December 13. Announcements and door prizes will start at 6 pm.

GenuWine is Magnolia’s first retail wine and gift shop, offering specialty boutique wines not found at other stores, and a large assortment of craft beers. The tasting room is open for a glass of wine, a bite to eat, and live music throughout the week.

“Our annual Christmas Party is really a celebration of all the MCABW members,” said MCABW founder and executive director, Carol Gooch. “These ladies work hard and support each other all year. They are such a generous group. This is our way of saying thank you.”

GenuWine’s owners, Rhonda Redmon and Barb Salinas, are both members of the MCABW. “A customer came in and told us we just had to join this group,” Redmon said. “I just fell in love with them, and we’ve been members ever since.”

The MCABW is an organization that provides a forum for local businesswomen to develop and enhance professional and personal relationships with their peers. The group holds a mixer the second Thursday of each month as well as a monthly luncheon the fourth Tuesday of each month at Incredible Pizza in Conroe. The group also hosts a breakfast meeting on the first Tuesday of the month. Visitors are invited to attend two MCABW events before joining the organization.

GenuWine Tasting Room is located at 6503 FM 1488, Ste. 401, in Magnolia, Texas, 77354. For more information about MCABW, call or view both their website and Facebook page.
