Memorial Day in The Woodlands at Town Green Park on May 24, 2026
5 to 9 p.m.

Join us in honoring our heroes at the annual Memorial Day in the Woodlands tribute. The free event pays tribute to all military service men and women who lost their lives while serving the United States, and also honors all veterans who serve as a symbol for those who paid the ultimate sacrifice of life to protect our freedom. The festival features live music, children's activities, strolling entertainment and more at Town Green Park. The evening concludes with a dazzling fireworks display* choreographed to a patriotic soundtrack. Concessions will be available for purchase. Please be advisted the event beverage booth will be cashless. Guests may pay with but will need to have exact change. 

Event Schedule

  • 5 p.m. - Welcome and National Anthem
  •  5:10 p.m. - Live Music by The Matt Powers Band (Variety)
  •  7 p.m. - Keynote Speaker and AUSA Houston Honor Your Hero Ceremony *
  •  7:45 p.m. - Live Music by Nervous Rex (Variety)
  •  8:55 p.m. - Fireworks**

*The AUSA Houston Honor Your Hero Ceremony is to commemorate individuals who enter the United States military to protect and provide our beloved Nation. By celebrating this event with them, attendees will witness the swear-in and initiation into life of commitment and sacrifice to communities everywhere.

Free parking, generously donated by Timberloch, Inc., will be available at the orange, yellow, blue and white lots at 2002 Timberloch Place. Other designated parking areas include:
• The Town Center Parking garage and Gold Lot (2005 Lake Robbins Drive)
• Parking lot located at 9669 Grogan's Mill Road

Coolers, picnic baskets, blankets and lawn chairs are permitted. Glass is prohibited.
